At 90 years of age, Mickey Mouse – composed of just seven little circles, now stands astride pop culture and politics.  He can be hugged in theme parks, enjoyed on screens, an admired for his sheer longevity.  While Mickey may represent multiple meanings to humanity, notions of nostalgia and utopia remain embodied in his simple form.  As Walt always reminded everyone: “It started with a mouse,” and the future has never looked brighter… Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse.
